How To Do Regular Inspections Of Extension Drilling Tools

  1. Check every shift
    i) Check the oil pipes and joints for damage and oil leakage. Whether the connector U-shaped card is dropped or loose.
            j) Check all screws and nuts for looseness.
            k) Check whether the slideway of the drill frame is well lubricated, and whether the slideway is damaged or scratched.
            l) Check whether the oil level of the fuel tank is lower than the specified height.
            m) Check whether the water-tight packing at the water inlet of the power head leaks.
            n) Listen for abnormal noise when the power head gear box is running.
            o) Add lubricating oil to the oil filling cup for lubricating the drill track and the slide rail liner, and the oil filling cup on the upper part of the gear box.
            p) Before drilling, the main and auxiliary oil pumps should be started and run for 5-10 minutes without load. There should be no noise and severe vibration, otherwise it cannot be started. Drilling can only be carried out after normal operation.
            q) Observe the oil temperature at any time while drilling, and if the oil temperature exceeds 45 degrees Celsius, stop the machine in time.
            r) Check whether the Extension Drilling Tools frame is vertical. If any deviation is found, stop the machine for adjustment in time.
            s) Check whether the wear of the power movable sleeve screw exceeds the specified range.
            t) Read carefully the drilling records of the previous shift.
            2. Check every 500 hours of operation
            (1) Check the contents of each shift, and upgrade the well if possible.
            (2) Check the oil quality of the hydraulic oil. If the oil is turbid, impurities are obviously visible, or the color has changed, the hydraulic oil should be completely replaced, and the oil tank and the oil filter and screen in the tank should be cleaned.
            (3) Check all sliding parts and re-apply lubricant.
            (4) Check the paper core of the high-pressure paper oil filter at the outlet of the main pump. If there is more dirt, replace the paper core of the oil filter.
            (5) Check whether the packing gland of the power head has an adjustment margin. If there is no adjustment gap, replace the packing.
            (6) Check the lubricating oil of the gear box, add or replace if necessary.
            3. Check every 1000 hours of operation
            (1) The raised well has been operated on the surface for 500 hours to check the contents.
            (2) Remove the power head, open the gear box cover, check the gears and bearings comprehensively, if any problems are found, repair or replace, and replace the lubricant.
            (3) Check and measure the slide rail liner, the item wear is out of tolerance and should be replaced.
            (4) Disassemble and check the main oil cylinder (such as the main push cylinder, etc.). The reassembled hydraulic cylinder should be tested according to the technical requirements, otherwise the extension drilling tool cannot be installed.
            (5) Remove the floating head of the power head, and carefully check all parts, especially the threaded fasteners of the movable sleeve. The threaded fasteners are seriously damaged and must be replaced.
