Rolex is synonymous with style and luxury, and Pepsi is known for its line of sugary soft drinks. What could these two brands possibly have in common? You might be surprised. To buy a luxury Rolex 16710 watch, visit this watch store website.

The Pepsi Rolex, so named for its red and blue bezel, is a famous watch that has been worn by Hollywood stars, political activists, jazz legends, and even astronauts. The Pepsi Rolex has been produced in different varieties over the years. In 1989, for instance, the watch was produced as the Rolex 16710. This watch garnered a lot of attention, and the Rolex 16710 continued to be produced until 1999.

The First Pepsi Rolex

The first Pepsi Rolex was manufactured in 1954. At the time, the watch featured a bakelite bezel. In time, however, this bakelite was replaced with metal in 1956. The timepiece also featured a five-piece link bracelet design. The last issuing of a Pepsi Rolex occurred in 2014 at Baselworld. This watch included a white gold case and clocked in at over $38,000.

The Future of the Pepsi Rolex

Despite the somewhat outdated design of the Pepsi Rolex, collectors are quick to snatch pieces up when they become available. Younger timepiece enthusiasts are also giving the Pepsi Rolex a second look as its style fits more with the modern aesthetic, even though its design doesn’t fit with the minimalist modern take that other watch manufacturers are currently going for.

Currently, there has been no news since 2018 about any upcoming changes to the Pepsi Rolex or when collectors can expect a new series to roll out. Even with this being the case, the Pepsi Rolex continues to enjoy a reputation for being a rarity among Rolex collectibles.

You can expect to pay anywhere between a few thousand dollars to over $65,000 for certain Pepsi models, but your best bet will be to look to the pre-owned market and avoid high-profile collectibles for the best price. Of course, if you’re a true collector of Rolex timepieces, you already know that the price tag comes with the territory, so you should be prepared with research and knowledge before approaching a seller.
