Considering that PET bottles are used as containers for water and beverages, we recommend S136 stainless steel for PET preform cores and cavities. The mold steel should be stainless steel and will not endanger human health. We recommend the use of DIN 1.2311 as a die steel because PET preforms often produce PET preforms in large quantities. Therefore, the mold strength should be good enough to work for a long time. DIN 1.2316 is selected for the threaded neck slider because the accuracy and strength of the threaded neck slider should be strong enough to ensure the screw and cover are fixed.
