The Benefits of Digital Hearing Aids

When I see the difficulty my 87-year-old father has adapting Quietum Plus Review to his new hearing aids, I pity those of the Gen X and Gen Y generations who will discover or are discovering the same problems at a much younger age. You may scoff at my words, but what you don't know can most definitely harm you in this particular case.

The difficulty with hearing loss is that it is permanent. And because those of the younger generations are listening to music at levels that make their homes quake and their cars shake, the damage they are inflicting upon themselves will occur much sooner than it did for my father's generation or even that of the baby boomers. If this is happening to you, there are unfortunately no magic cures - no pills, no surgery - that will improve your ability to hear. Damage to the ears from constant exposure to loud music means that you will experience irreversible hearing loss.

According to HeadWize, a headphone resource site, "Two types of hearing damage can result from exposure to loud noise: sensorineural hearing loss and tinnitus. Sensorineural hearing loss happens in the inner ear when high energy sound waves, rippling through ear fluid, overstimulate and kill hair cells. When hair cells for a band of frequencies are destroyed, those frequencies are no longer heard.
