Both heptafluoropropane and aerosol belong to sulfuryl fluoride fumigant gas fire extinguishing equipment, and both are well-received in the market. Heptafluoropropane is colorless, odorless, low-toxic, non-conductive, and fast extinguishing fire. It has its advantages, while aerosols are relatively extinguishing speed. In terms of heptafluoropropane, it is slightly inferior, but the advantage is that the price of aerosol is particularly close to the people and will be cheaper.

Heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea/FM200) is a clean gas chemical fire extinguishing agent mainly chemical fire extinguishing and physical fire fighting. It does not pollute the protected object, and will not cause damage to property and precision facilities.

Aerosol refers to a gaseous dispersion system composed of solid or liquid particles suspended in a gas medium. The density of these solid or liquid particles can differ slightly from the density of the gaseous medium, or it can be very different. The size of aerosol particles is usually between 0.01~10μm, but due to a wide range of sources and formation reasons, for example, the particle size of plant aerosols such as pollen is 5-100μm, and the particle size of aerosols produced by burning wood and tobacco is 0.01-1000µm, etc. [6]. The shapes of the particles are diverse, and they can be nearly spherical, such as liquid mist, or flakes, needles, and other irregular shapes. First of all, aerosol has a certain degree of pollution, and Refrigerant R507 is non-toxic and environmentally friendly; aerosol cannot be used in human places, while heptafluoropropane can be used in frequently human places. The price of aerosols is cheaper, but the limited period is generally only four to six years, while the price of heptafluoropropane is a bit more expensive, and the validity period is generally at least 10 years or more. In the long run, heptafluoropropane is not much more expensive; the speed of aerosol fire fighting is much slower than that of heptafluoropropane. , And the uniformity is not enough.
