The tie-in was unveiled today via Madden's official Madden Twitter account and is scheduled to begin on the 14th of January. However, there's any additional details provided regarding the promotion as of now, however Madden fans can be sure to expect things to be a bit more lively on Friday!

The crossover last year, players had the chance to visit an inspired Reef-Top spot in The Yard. Through completing challenges, players were able to unlock exclusive equipment that was based on the series. There were new modes for the game that included The Flying Dutchman's Ghostly Grab, Sandy's Rocket Arm Rally, and The Goo Lagoon Bowl. It's probably safe to assume that the next year's event will feature something similarto the last, but it's difficult to know how different this year's theme will be. The some of the themes from last year slightly altered to reflect the various features, or be able to see completely new themes. Unfortunately, it's impossible to say for certain.

A few Madden fans have already voiced anger that EA has a focus on crossover content, instead of addressing other issues that are related to the game. This crossover won't change the issues that players are facing with Madden NFL 22 but hopefully it will prove to be a great new experience, however! Nickelodeon and the NFL have made plenty of advancements to get kids excited about the sport of football, and this could be another avenue to open for young fans.
